Together, Amy Barnes and Jerry Miner are Barnes & Miner. Married in 2002, they now share a stage all over the country performing their unique brand of tag team comedy. They began with a theater show, “The Funnymooners,” to rave reviews in Oklahoma and then opened the new Sideshow theater in Tempe, AZ with “Barnes & Miner: Let the Little Things Go,” which opened to sold out crowds and was extended to 5 weeks.

Amy and Jerry reside in Los Angeles where they serve as small group coordinators at a church plant in West Los Angeles. They have a four-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son who enjoy traveling with mom and dad.

Amy Barnes started her stand-up career in Seattle, Washington where she quickly gained a reputation for smart accessible comedy. A few years later she picked up a guitar and added original songs to the mix which landed her a plum spot in the New Faces Show at the Montreal Comedy Festival. With rave reviews in hand she appeared on Premium Blend and Comic Remix on Comedy Central followed by a recurring role on the National Lampoon network. As a writer, she has written for Bonnie Hunt (The Bonnie Hunt Show, ABC), Jack Black (School of Rock), and many more.

Jerry Miner began his comedy career as a doorman at the Laugh Stop in Newport Beach, California. That club closed and is now a Burger King. 20 years later, Jerry has made over 20 television appearances on ESPN, HBO, NBC, Fox, Comedy Central, and MTV, and written for many well-known comedians, including: Bill Cosby, Jay Leno, Paul Reiser, Kevin Pollak, and Ellen DeGeneres.
